GAP Group Ltd is the UK’s largest independent Plant and Tool Hirer, hiring out a range of products across a number of sectors including construction and utilities.

Currently with c.940 employees and 59 depots across the UK we are currently recruiting a GAP One Account Administrator to join our GAP one team based within our Head Office in Glasgow to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible service to our increasing customer base

 

GAP one is a unique “best in industry” service which provides one method of contact for our larger account customers ensuring all their plant and tool hire requirements are delivered on schedule and the associated administration is accurate.We pride ourselves on providing exceptional  customer service which makes us stand out from our competitors

 

You will be responsible for dealing with all hire orders from Major Account customers and liaising with GAP personnel/rehire companies to ensure plant is delivered on schedule.  Detailed and accurate information must be obtained from customers requesting plant, off-hiring plant or reporting breakdowns and the associated admin completed accurately and on schedule.

 

With excellent customer service skills you will manage customer requirements in a focused and efficient way.  You should be resilient, with the ability to react calmly and efficiently whatever the situation.  Building rapport with internal and external customers is key to the success of this role as are excellent communication and listening skills. You will need to take a proactive approach as selling “add on” products  to our customers will also be required.
