Job Description: 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller to provide effective and efficient Customer Service through the conversion of enquiries into hires located within our Depot in Cowley, Middlesex. We are seeking an experienced Hire Desk Controller to maximise sales and effective utilisation of an available fleet.

 

 

The Role

 

Responsibilities include: -

 

• Successfully convert hire enquiries into hire orders and achieve above minimum process to hit and surpass hire revenue targets.
• Use the E result system interactively to take orders ensuring that availability is checked first.  Using your product knowledge provide the Customer with the best option for hire.
• Ensure the accuracy of orders entered onto the E-result system to minimize disputes with customers and potential credit notes, ensuring all relevant paperwork is received by supplying depot.
• Build strong and helpful relationships with colleagues in other depots/departments to enable and accept passing of remote hire orders.
• Co-Ordinate movements for all trucks on a daily basis to fulfil Customer requirements.

 

The Person

 

The ideal candidate will have: -

 

• Previous experience within a similar role or within a Customer Services environment is essential
• Excellent Telephone Manner.
• Good Communication Skills
• Computer Skills
