An opportunity has arisen for a Hire Manager at our Motherwell depot.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Hire Manager will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Hire Desk and will manage, motivate and train a team of HSC’s. The Hire Manager will take ownership of all required reports and ensure these are completed accurately and on time. The Hire Manager will identify Training requirements for HSC’s and ensure best practice is adhered to at all times.

Dealing with telephone enquiries/orders from customers the Hire Manager will provide accurate information on equipment as required and will liaise with the Workshop Manager to ensure that equipment is available as well as co-ordinating drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and uplifted from customers on time.

The Hire Manager will adapt to changes in systems and criteria as and when required and will be proactive in looking after GAP Group interests and customer business.
