Job Description: 

We are delighted to announce that we will shortly be opening our 5^th Non mechanical Plant depot in Derby.

The new depot will supply non–mechanical plant (e.g. Fence panels, crowd control barriers, road crossing plates, trench sheets and props and concrete/muck skips etc) throughout the Midlands from a centralised hub allowing our existing depots to focus on their key business – Plant & Tool Hire.

As a result we are now recruiting for the following posts:

 

HGV2 Driver

Delivering and collecting equipment throughout the Midlands, the driver should have a current HGV2 licence and be qualified to operate a HIAB. Excellent geographical knowledge and the ability to provide excellent customer service is also essential. When deliveries/uplifts are quiet, the driver will be expected to help with general yard/workshop duties.

 

Labourer/Welder

The Labourer will ensure that all equipment is maintained to a high standard and this will include repairs and general maintenance. A background in welding or related trade would be beneficial.

A driving licence is essential as the labourer may occasionally have to help with deliveries/uplifts. A Forklift licence is beneficial.
