Job Description – Transport Coordinator

• Maintain and improve existing efficiencies

 

• Coordinate all deliveries and collections of hired out plant

 

• Coordinate all deliveries and collections of outside transport

 

• Day to day management of all drivers

 

• Processing of time sheets for payroll

 

• Ensuring conformity to all EU rules on driver’s hours

 

• Download tachograph cards and analyse as per VOSA regulations

 

• Ensuring conformity to all VOSA regulations

 

•  Ensure roadworthiness of all vehicles

 

• Ensure presentation of all vehicles is to required standard.

 

• Assist in ensuring vehicle inspections and servicing is carried out in accordance with manufacturers and VOSA’s recommendations

 

• Ensure any/all defects are rectified

 

• Ensure all paperwork is to required standard

 

• Process all paperwork on Insphire, maintain daily diary and transport board

 

• Maintain regular contact with both new and existing customers
