Job Description: 

Haulage Operations Support  Manager

 

Reporting to Senior Operations manager in a team of 4, this role is responsible for the successful running of our Tipper and Grab Lorry fleet through communicating with our clients and staff.

 Job functions:

  • Telephone communications from clients and drivers
  • Support sales drive
  • Put sales contracts onto computer
  • Provide delivery information to drivers
  • Help staff from Administration to Debrief drivers at end of shift
  • Collect and administer delivery notes at end of shift

 

Skills required:

  • Basic computer competency, Excel, Word etc.
  • Excellent telephone and face to face communication
  • Commercial awareness
  • A fast learner to adopt in a fast changing environment.
