Job Description:

My client is a regional supplier of construction and heavy machinery in the West Midlands area, who now have an immediate requirement for an experienced Workshop Administrator

You will be based within the Workshop that provides after sales service to clients. You will be responsible for completing all administration for repairs work, service work and warranty work.

Duties include:

Raise job files
Receive purchase requisition and log into system
Raise Purchase Orders associated with Workshop and Field Service
Receive estimates and raise quotations for customers
Monitor job performance - material and labour costs
Review and report job file margins
Manage and report labour/man hours times into SAP
Monitor job status and report to client as required
Collate all documentation such as test certification as required in line with customer requirements
General administrative duties
Interface with Workshop Supervisor
Interface with Warehouse and Aftermarket Sales
Product financial reports to Finance as required
Prepare monthly invoicing

To be considered for this position, you must have the following background and skills:

Experience within a similar administration in an engineering workshop environment.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to estimate and quote clients accurately.
Effective written and verbal communicator with both internal and external customers.
Ability prioritise effectively to meet customer and internal deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
