Job Description: 

Due to increased levels of business we invite applicants for a position in our Hire dept.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for

 

  • Dealing with all telephone enquiries/orders from customers and providing accurateinformation on equipment as required
  • Dealing with "walk in" customers at a hiredesk
  • Liaise with the workshop and drivers to ensure that equipment is available
  • Co-ordinate drivers to ensure equipment is delivered to customers on time.
  • Process on hires, off hires and exchanges on PC
  • Process manual paperwork when necessary
  • Operate and maintain daily diary recording all plant movements.
  • Actively sell consumables to customers
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

 

Candidates should be able to display excellent communication skills along with a good telephone manner.
The successful applicant should be able to work accurately and be able to work on their own initiative.

Flexibility essential.

PC literacy is essential as are good organisational skills.
Experience in the plant & tool hire/construction industry would be an advantage.

This role would suit someone who is flexible and has a confident and mature approach to work.
