Job Description:

An exciting vacancy has arisen to work onsite at the premises of one of our Major Account Customers ( Daniels)  in Warrington  for a Customer Hire and Sales Co-ordinator (CHSC) to ensure all business between the customer and GAP Group Ltd is carried out in an efficient and effective manner

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the customers' on hire/off hire/exchange requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively and in line with their agreements.

  • Raise all contracts on Movex accurately within an hour
  • Liaise with Depots regarding supplying of plant.
  • Oversee any problems regarding deliveries and use the escalation process where necessary.
  • Secure additional revenue through add on sales and converting off hires into on hires.
  • Ensure Depots provide correct paperwork and details.
  • Ensure there are no collection notes are outstanding for more than 3 days.
  • Check live hire weekly for rates, dates & plant numbers and follow up any discrepancies and ensure all changes are made.
  • Deal with any invoice queries should they arise.
  • Ensure any credits requested are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Present damages within agreed timescales, obtain order numbers and keep spreadsheets up to date.
  • Source and rehire non GAP equipment ensuring both quality and price and process these accurately on Movex
  • Collate weekly KPI information from all Depots

Candidates should be able to display excellent communication skills along with a good telephone manner.
The successful applicant should be able to work accurately to tight deadlines and be able to work on their own initiative.
PC literacy is essential as are good organisational skills.
Experience in the plant & tool hire/construction industry would be an advantage.

This role would suit someone who is flexible and has a confident approach to work. Must be able to stay calm under pressure and be proactive in their dealings with customers.
