Job Responsibilities To provide a high delivery service level, which is safe, compliant, reliable and efficient, ensuring a first class delivery and collection service for the business and our customers.

  

Job Accountabilities    Carry out deliveries and collections to our internal and external customers in a professional manner Accurate recording of information regarding stock movements, deliveries and collections. Drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely; obeying at all times the traffic laws and the Highway Code. Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring that any defects found are reported to your line manager so that the appropriate action can be taken. Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is securely and safely tied down and protected, where necessary, from the weather, potential damage or theft. Ensure your personal appearance is smart and presentable and presents a professional image to our customers. Ensure the inside and outside of company vehicles are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, remembering always that you and your vehicle are a mobile advertisement of the standard of service available from the company. Collect any money due on the delivery or collection as instructed. All money collected from customers remains the responsibility of the driver until it is signed for as received by the line manager. Carry out other duties and tasks as and when required. Comply with Health and Safety regulations to safeguard the interests of the business, our people and customers.
