Do you have a proven track record within the plant hire sector, and a strong inclination to both sales and business management?

Are you commercially aware, with an understanding of health and safety rules? This could be the perfect next step for you.

They are looking for a depot manager with a succesful and recent sales and operations background to come in and take control of their recently opened depot operation in Derbyshire controlling issues of absence, health and safety, and legislation.

With a structured and loyal CV the successful applicant will have an abundance of experience in the plant/tool hire or closely allied sectors. This is a full time, permanent position offering the security and rewards expected of a national hire provider.

The role will encompass a strong element of sales and business development, so candidates with a strong blend of sales and operations experience are encouraged to apply. Applications will also be considered from those looking to expand their career who come from a sales background and are looking to progress into a managerial position

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Strong leadership, motivation and influencing skills.
- A recent and succesful hire industry sales background
- 2-5 years experience within plant hire.
- Experience of dealing with supply contracts
- Experience of handling budgets and P&L is essential
- You can come from either a tool hire or linked environment, but must have dealt with local and regional civil engineers, construction, heavy industry and utility providers
- You must display a resilient outlook, and strive to take responsibility, making decisions and using your initiative.

You will receive a competitive basic salary of c£26,000 to £35000 (neg) + Benefits dependant on the level of your experience. The benefits package is again quite favourable.
