An exciting vacancy has arisen within our successful Doncaster depot for a Hire and Sales Co-ordinator (HSC) on a one year contract. This exciting and varied role offers a real opportunity to utilise your Customer Service and organisational skills in a fast moving and customer focused environment.

• The key aspects of the role are
  Dealing with all telephone enquiries/orders from customers and providing  accurate  information on equipment as required
• Liaise with the workshop and drivers to ensure that equipment is available
•  Co-ordinate drivers to ensure equipment is delivered to customers on time.
• Process on hires, off hires and exchanges on PC
• Process manual paperwork when necessary
• Operate and maintain daily diary recording all plant movements.
• Liaise with other GAP depots when equipment not available at own depot.
• Use PC( Movex) to locate plant and check correct rates being used.
• Report errors on rates to General Manager and ensure rectification.
• Adapt to changes in systems and criteria as and when required and be proactive in  looking after GAP Group interests and customer business.
• Actively sell consumables to customers

Candidates should be able to display excellent communication skills along with a good telephone manner.
The successful applicant should be able to work accurately to tight deadlines and be able to work on their own initiative.
PC literacy is essential as are good organisational skills.
Experience in the plant & tool hire/construction industry would be an advantage.

This role would suit someone who is flexible and has a confident and mature approach to work. Must be able to stay calm under pressure and be proactive in their dealings with customers.
