Our client is a market leading provider of plant hire and equipment rental to the construction, utilities and industrial sectors. With a national presence and a renowned product portfolio they have a requirement for an experienced depot manager for their strategically important London outlet.

Based in London, you will join an established team containing a balance of talent and external experience and will have full operational responsibility and control of 20 personnel, this role will report directly to the Southern Area Director.

You will need a minimum 5 years of senior management experience ideally gained in a rental environment however candidates with experience with a construction supply or rental equipment manufacturer are welcomed. You will need to be a proven leader and demonstrate excellent communication skills ranging from motivating and engaging employees to handling important customer negotiations.

You must have a proven track record of delivering results in the Construction Supply sector, you must operated at least at Depot level although candidates with regional experience are expected to apply. You will lead your team through example and be able demonstrate that they have genuinely developed under your leadership.

You will be a dynamic, hardworking individual with experience gained within a senior Management role within a plant hire or closely related sector.

We are keen to source the very best individuals for the key role therefore your transferable skill set must include significant Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility and excellent commercial skills. You will also be a strong manager and motivator of operational teams.
