Job Description: 

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a market leading specialist Rental Company as a Depot Hire Supervisor based in Oldbury, West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility, commercial awareness along side strong negotiating skills together with a can do attitude

You will be a key player in the future growth of the depot and will be measured and rewarded on your success

Key responsibilities

Responsibility for receiving orders (on-hires) and requests for collection/ contract termination (off-hires) and planning transport for deliveries and collections

Liaising with other Depot Employees, Customers, Workshops and Sales teams

Ensuring that all opportunities to maximise the Depot and the Group’s sales to a Customer are attained

Ensuring that all products that are hired to Customers are safe and have been properly tested in accordance with Company procedures

Processing all input to IT systems and paperwork relating to on-hires, off-hires and stock transfers, etc.

Developing and maintaining knowledge of the Depot’s equipment for hire/ sale including basic knowledge of accessory, safety and test & run requirements

Have a Yes ethos and be willing to go the extra mile to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Experience/Qualifications:

 

  Minimum 3 years Experience in the plant hire industry

  Full Driving Licence

  Local area knowledge for the Depot area served.

  Customer service experience.

 

Mechanical fitting experience preferred but no essential as training will be available to the successful applicant.
