Job Description: 

e are currently recruiting a Data Specialist for our GAP one team to analyse data relating to GAP one customer hires and to ensure customer reports are produced accurately within agreed timescales.

Based within our Head Office in Glasgow , the key responsibilities will include:

• Producing and analysing information and reports for GAP one customers including Live Hire/Hire movement reports, accrual reports and customer monthly invoice reports.
• Comparing data received from GAP One customers with that on our Movex system and address any differences.
• Following up non-return of customer reports.
• Producing reports in specific/varying formats to meet the differing requirements of GAP one customers
• Providing excellent customer service by promoting and discussing reporting options available to new and existing customers.
• Ensuring monthly, customer specific invoice runs smoothly by developing good working relationships with all framework suppliers and by dealing with “no matches” on the framework hires on a weekly basis.
• Raising invoices for some of our Major Account customers
• Reconciling specific customer accounts weekly by raising any credits due and allocating payments.
• Responsible for all group invoice runs.
• Adapting to changes in systems and criteria as and when required and be proactive in looking after GAP Group interests and Major Account customer business.

Applicants must have a strong background in producing reports and analysing data, a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel is therefore essential to this role. Accuracy and attention to detail are also key attributes. As you will be in daily contact with our customers, excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner are also essential.

Working knowledge within the Construction/ Hire industry is desirable, as is experience with Movex.
