Regional Operations Manager - Hire Industry Do you have a proven track record within the specialist sector of plant hire or tool hire or similar, and a strong performance based business management background? Are you commercially aware, with an understanding of health and safety rules? This could be the perfect next step for you. Our client are a blue-chip service provider who run the northern region of their internationally reknowned hire operation. They are looking for a Regional Operations Manager with a succesful and recent management backround to come in and take control of their succesful depot operations in Northern England, controlling issues of performance, budgeting, health and safety, and legislation. This will ensure that their customer's requirements are met within budget, and on time in full. KEY REQUIREMENTS - Strong leadership, motivation and influencing skills. - A recent and succesful hire industry sales background - 5+ years experience within plant hire or a specialist hire product. - Experience of dealing with supply contracts - Experience of handling budgets and P&L is essential - You can come from either a plant hire or linked environment, but must have dealt with roughly the same customer type of civil engineers, construction, heavy industry and utility providers - You must display a resilient outlook, and strive to take responsibility, making decisions and using your initiative.
