Diesel Engineer - Heavy Plant and Agricultural Equipment - West Midlands

An experienced Diesel Fitter ideally from a Plant Hire or Agricultural background is urgently required for an established and reknowned local provider of quality hire and sales equipment with a depot base in the Northern area of the county of Worcester.  The successful applicant will be responsible for servicing a range of hired and owned equipment and the maintainence of equipment on sites around the  Midlands area of England.

. Preventative maintenance of plant and agriculture machinery on site and in a depot environment.

. Maintain engines, check water-cooling systems or clean air and oil filters to prevent engine parts from breaking down, replace worn parts, and put the engines back together.

. Carry out safety inspections

. Examine machinery following breakdowns, identify the fault, repair or replace the faulty part or parts.

. Ensuring the maximum availability of the fleet of Plant and Equipment

Engineering and vocational qualifications are a prerequisite as is the experience of working in the Hire Industry, Heavy Plant, Agricultural or closely related sector
