Hire Controller - Plant Hire - Bristol

Our client is a well-established and leading niche rental services provider offering the latest and best quality hire machinery equipment, We are now seeking to recruit on their behalf for a Hire Controller for their well established, successful depot outlet  in Bristol.  Job Description As a Hire Controller you are a focal point for the co-ordination of hire and rental equipment, you will process all rental and hire equipment orders placed, updating the systems to reflect hire status. Identify and arrange for plant and equipment deliveries to meet schedules.This exciting and varied role that offers a real opportunity to utilise your Customer Service and organisational skills in a fast moving and customer focused environment.  The key aspects of the role are  * Dealing with all telephone enquiries/orders from customers and providing accurate information on equipment as required * Liaise with the workshop and drivers to ensure that equipment is available and ready to hire * Co-ordinate drivers to ensure equipment is delivered to customers on time. * Process on hires, off hires and exchanges on PC (knowledge of a major hire system software such as MCS, Syrinx, Insphire or similar is advantageous but not necessary * Process manual paperwork when necessary * Operate and maintain daily diary recording all equipment movements * Report errors on rates to General Manager and ensure rectification. Candidates should be able to display excellent communication skills along with a good telephone manner.
