Depot General Manager - Leeds
Salary circa £35,000 plus excellent bonus scheme, car, phone, laptop etc
My Client is a leading supplier of plant hire and equipment rental throughout the UK. They are renowned for their high service levels, quality equipment and low staff turnover. Operating from a depot network this is a high profile hire industry business that seeks to employ the best staff available.
This is a an excellent opportunity to join this business at Senior Depot Level as Depot General Manager of one of their flagship locations. You will work alongside an existing, experienced team to deliver a high standard of customer satisfaction, meet the company business targets and objectives and maintain and build upon customer and staff relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
* Lead by example and coach, motivate and train staff
* Strive to exceed targets set for customer service, debt and centre standards
* Work closely with the existing team to ensure product availability to achieve customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all systems, procedures and processes
* Promote cooperation and teamwork between colleagues working in the depot.
* Maintain professional standards of product knowledge
* Encourage team work and promote training and development of staff
* Motivate staff to recognise, appreciate and fulfil individual customer needs.
* Manage the day to day centre business transactions.
* Minimise customer debt by monitoring invoicing and assisting with dispute resolution
This position requires a high level of understanding of the demands required by Construction, Utility and Civil Engineering clients and as such applications can only be accepted from candidates with a CV showing previous senior depot management experience from the hire and equipment rental sectors
