Operations Manager – Fleet Services An opportunity exists for an experienced manager to join our Fleet Services team. Reporting to the Fleet Services Director this role will offer a variety of challenges and will further test your influencing, negotiating and management abilities. The key responsibilities of this role will be to manage a team of people to achieve successful business performance and growth through high standards of customer satisfaction. This will be achieved through the following:- Driving the strategy for the Operations function. Project managing Operations initiatives to deliver against customer expectations. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements. Translating customer requirements into effective, deliverable action plans. Ensuring the Procurement strategy maximises benefits the business whilst retaining working relationships with suppliers. Maintaining regular contact with the customer to obtain feedback on commercial issues and ensure issues are addressed by the team. Producing in-depth reports and statistics on all issues of the hire fleet business performance. Ensuring compliance of all statutory legislation in protection of the Company’s O Licence. Identifying and developing business opportunities within the business. Successful applicants will preferably have experience of a Fleet Management operation and be proven people managers and have a track record of excellent commercial management. In addition a thorough understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality is required.
